Lattice energies and Born-Haber cycles?

Ok, i've been revising these and i find them impossible to get my head round :( for AS chemistry for edexcel, does anyone know if you need to be able to calculate things with them. I understand what the answers show and all that, i just can't actually do them so i'm wandering if i have to ?

I cant remember the song title and band name. It was on VH1 a few years ago, the music video was the band and people partying in a house. The singer or w/e has his shirt off, i think he had tattoos, he was dark, he looked mexican, the entire house was flooding and filling up with water and i think there was a scene where there was a black (cowboy??) hat floating around. does this sound familiar to anyone? please post links, song name and band name is you can(:

How do you feel about deferred admission?

I'm an upcoming junior in high school, so I'm obviously thinking a lot about my life after high school. College has always been an option for me, but I'm thinking about asking for a deferred admission to the school I'm applying for. I don't want to head right about to school after I graduate. I want to travel. I was just wondering if people could give me some insight on how it works, and how to get an deferment? And your opinions or if anyone has ever done it. Thank you.

How can I ever trust God again?

I've read the Bible and used to be a devout Christian. After reading the Bible, I see that God is the worst terrorist to ever exist. Please understand what I mean is this: God terrorized children during the flood of Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah, and in the lake of fire. How can I trust a God who is a terrorist of children like that? How can I trust God when He has the power to feed all the children in the world, yet won't lift a finger to feed the poor, clothe the naked, heal the sick. Not even one amputee has been medically documented of being healed after all the Christians praying for it. Ask and ye shall receive seems to be an out right lie. What do I do? I know the Bible has tons of lies and contradictions in it now after reading the Bible and studying it deeply. I've read websites that prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that the Bible has tons of lies in it. How can I ever trust God again?
