My ex husband is currently serving a deferred sentance for assult and battery in the presence of a minor...?

My ex-husband is currently serving a deferred sentence for assault and battery in the presence of a minor. Since the sentence I have had to get a protective order as well. There have been two violations to this protective order that the DA's office has filed...I have received a letter that they are filing criminal charges for these violations. He was also recently arrested for violating his deferred sentence by writing the DA's office a hot check and not attending domestic violence classes. They have issued a motion to accelerate. He goes to court in a month on all three charges at the same time...what will happen to him? Is he looking at jail time?
