I was charged with a felony 6 years ago and the charges were all dismissed, does that mean I was convicted?

Okay, I'm confused because I'm applying for jobs now and on the application it asks if I have ever been convicted of a felony. When I went to court for this charge the judge told me that it would never show on my record because it was dismissed. Last year I had a hard time getting a fingerprint clearance card b/c of the charges but as soon as I showed them the paperwork that it was dismissed they cleared me no questions asked. On this job I'm applying for asks if I have ever been convicted & the disposition. On my paperwork it says disposition "dismissed". I have to say your side sounds much better. You sound like a very smart young woman and need to stick to your plan. If he loves you he will want you to finish school first and he should do the same. It is too easy to not go back or put if off longer if you take a break, and what if you enjoy your break a bit too much and end up getting pregnant. Then you would have to balance a child and going back to school. I could keep going on but I think you know what you should do. You have the rest of your lives to do new things. Way back in the 1980's I was a photo enthusiast. I had a few SV "ultra cool" tungsten flood lights. "Ultra Cool" must have been some sort of sick joke. You could burn yourself if you touched them. If the subject was 10' away and you used an umbrella, they still sweat up a storm. I have not used them in 20 years. I think I might use them again. So, I believe I'm in love with a fictional character. What to do?

So I first "fell in love" with this character when my grade three teacher started reading the Harry Potter books in grade three. That was when I was eight. Like really SEVERE tingly good feeling butterflies that's ALMOST painful but definitely not and heart pounding. I'm definitely not short of guys liking me in real life, in fact I believe there's quite too many and I have zero interest in any of them which my best friend and any girls around me can't understand why as anyone would be lucky to be with a number of them. I have really tried to like a guy who actually exists or even another fictional character but I get no feelings from any of them even comparable to the feelings I get just reading about Draco. It feels like I'm pretending no matter how natural I try to create relationships with guys in real life. He's not even my "ideal", as in if I could choose personality traits or appearance of my perfect guy it would not be his. I remember reading a Chinese(?) folktale when I was younger. It was about this old Chinese lady in a village that was dammed as there was a river nearby (maybe the Yangtze). She sees airplanes fighting in the air and then finds a Japanese soldier wounded somewhere in the periphery of the village and then gives him water and feeds him. Broken Super Soaker Arctic Blast?

I have a Super Soaker Arctic Blast. It is blue/green/orange and is about a year old. Whenever I pump the gun it shoots out a small water stream out of the stream nozzle. Pressing the trigger to shoot the stream nozzle does nothing. The flood nozzle works but only if I cover the stream nozzle with my finger while I'm pumping. Is there any way to fix this. My basement flooded, and we're putting new floors down there to fix the damage. To save money before the pros come in and lay down tile, we had to pull up the old floor, which was half vinyl and half glue-down carpet. We ripped everything up but were left with all that glue on the cement. We bought the chemical solvents, spent the entire day scraping up what would come up, but we're left with quite a bit of old carpet glue on that half of the basement. Can the flooring people just mortar over what's left, or do we need to do a more thorough job clearing off that glue (not sure that's possible with the tools we've got, so hoping we're all good). We mopped up all the chemical after we removed the bulk of the scraped-off glue, and we've got a flat, level surface to work with. Just some residual junk on the floor. My cop didn't show up to my traffic court hearing, shouldn't the case have been deferred?

In short, today I showed up for my traffic court hearing I was assigned after I called the court to tell them I would be pleading not guilty to the ticked I given and would like a trial. Once the judge called me up to the stand I pleaded not guilty and the judge told me another court date would be mailed to my house as the police officer who gave me my ticket was not available. I thought if a police officer doesn't show for a trial the case is deferred? I went back to the prosecutor to ask him about this but he just blew it off and told me to have a nice day.... Seeing how things went, I guess if a cop doesn't show up for a court case the case isn't always deferred? Anyone else have any similar experiences like this? I was only charged with a minor moving violation so a court hearing was not mandatory. Any wisdom that could be shed on this situation would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Jeep looks beautiful. I ran a car fax on it and it has 6 previous owners. I love the look of the car it has lots of upgrades. Pay off items on credit or not?

I have 22 negative things on my credit (total shock to myself) so I am currently in the process of disputing some items and having others removed (mostly medical bills and student loans that should have been deferred.) I take animal pack vitamins in the morning right when i wake, then drink my pre lift N.O. (white flood). While lifting i drink Size On and then whey protein directly towards end of lift. Does anyone know what this rash could be?

I have a rash on the right side of my neck. It is red, slightly raised (I can feel little bumps when I rub my fingers against my neck), and slightly itchy. It also comes and goes and is irritated by rubbing alcohol, products with alcohol in them, and sometimes even hot (not warm) water. I don't think it is hives since I do not have any of the other symptoms associated with hives and I do not believe it to be eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis since creams for those rashes do not help it at all. The rash can red, pink or very light red, or dark red (almost a brownish red color) at different times. Sometimes it is a combination of two of the three (ex. red near the front and dark red near the back). The rash doesn't crust or bleed, and is not puss filled. From what I can tell it is not scaly or silver-like, either. I have had this rash for about 4-5 years and nothing I have tried works to make it better or get rid of it. I have noticed that is sort of a small round shape in some places and has what looks to me like a brown freckle in the middle or in some places a medium-sized red slanted band in the middle. It appears to be blotchy and could be lattice-shaped, but it is hard to tell since the rash is clustered together. Any ideas on what this rash could be would be greatly appreciated.

this has been bothering me for quite sometime. but i was remembering this movie that i use to watch all the time and i loved it as a kid. only i cant remember the name of the movie, and i only remember a few parts of the movie. i LOVE movies and if i cant get the name of this movie .. i'll be upset lol. so i was wondering if anybody else knew what i was talking about. i'll describe the parts that i remembered. im not quite sure if it was anime or not. but one part i remember was there was a parade going on in the morning. then the main character, i think a boy, and his pet squirrel (i think it was a squirrel) are in this house. but the house has no floor like if it was a never ending drop. the boy is walking on the sides of the house where he wont fall, but ends up slipping. and his squirrel jumps after him and flies. another part i remember was a party going on in this magical world and the boy goes in this one room where hes not aloud to go in i think. he went in because his new friend he met in this magical world convinced him to. there is this huge door that no one is ever suppose to open because i think some sort of evil is trapped behind there. they open it and this black kinda of smokey blob takes over the kingdom/town. another part i remember was the boy is dreaming i think. hes sleeping in his bed and wakes to find some kind of magical wand or staff in his bed. the house is beginning to flood and the bed is used as some kind of boat, and there is a door at the end of the hall that is like lit behind it. the light is like a gold yellow, i think the boy is trying to get away from him because i remember him trying to get away from it. i also remember the boys new friend being in some sort of a ball shaped thing which people are going to set it off like a fire work. and i also remember the end of the movie the boy goes back to his home town parade . those are the only parts of the movie that i can clearly see in my head. if any of you know please please PLEASE tell me thanks <3

Why does the MgO have an ionic lattice structure?

Apparently, Magnesium Oxide has an ionic lattice structure. I understand why the bonds are ionic, but how was I supposed to know that MgO has a lattice structure? Is it because there are only 2 atoms in one molecule? How do I recognize a lattice structure by simply learning the name of the compound?

What does this weird dream mean?

I keep having end of the world-type dreams. The other night I had one about an alien invasion and trying to save myself and the people around me. It was so realistic it was scary. I also had a dream before that my town had a massive flood and there was a secret government that you had to beg to keep alive. I just keep having Random dreams about the world coming to an end. I wonder is this a preminition or what? Btw, I have had dreams come true before. Usually months after I've had them. I dunno, any thoughts?

Broken Super Soaker Arctic Blast?

I have a Super Soaker Arctic Blast. It is blue/green/orange and is about a year old. Whenever I pump the gun it shoots out a small water stream out of the stream nozzle. Pressing the trigger to shoot the stream nozzle does nothing. The flood nozzle works but only if I cover the stream nozzle with my finger while I'm pumping. Is there any way to fix this. The gun was expensive!

You can have an attitude of gratitude you now have someone to share in your life at a time when you needed it the most!
